Jolene Sanchez

Jolene is from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and graduated from Hope Christian High School in 2022. Volleyball has been a major part of her life, and her passion for the sport truly grew during her six years playing at ARVC. Over her nine-year playing career, she competed as a middle, a right side, and ultimately finished as an outside hitter. The game has shaped her in so many ways, teaching me the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and leadership—values that continue to guide me today.
For the past three years, she have had the privilege of coaching at ARVC, helping young athletes develop both their skills and confidence. She was fortunate to have incredible coaches throughout my playing career, and she strives to be the same positive influence for her players. Her goal is not only to help them grow as athletes but also to instill in them the values of hard work, resilience, and team spirit.
She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in General Management at the University of New Mexico, where she is further developing her leadership and organizational skills. Coaching allows me to combine her love for volleyball with her passion for mentoring others, and she is committed to making a lasting impact on every player she works with.
